When Instagram moved from a chronological feed to an algorithm-driven timeline, people first reacted badly. But today, we have to admit that our feeds have become much more interesting and engaging. It has helped discovering new content. And this new feature is about to really boost discovery.
Following hashtags could be what was missing on Instagram. If you are into a niche topic, or just love bing able to see all the latest #cutepuppies or #catstagram posts, then this is definitely the feature you have been looking for.
Of course this new feature is also a powerful marketing tool. On top of allowing you to discover new content, it will also let you understand what the level of engagement on each of these topics/hashtags really is daily and whether it is worth jumping on the trend or not
